One year after President Obama was sworn in to office, and less than a week before his State of the Union address, Africa Action today released its Africa Policy Outlook 2010 at http://tinyurl.com/yehktlo , also published by Foreign Policy in Focus. The Outlook is an annual publication forecasts the key issues and developments in Africa policy, such as climate change, the global economic crisis, HIV/AIDS, foreign aid and other country topics, and it analyzes trends in U.S.

Report on Adewukwaa: Missions Report from the Central Region of Ghana

Adewukwaa is a small village situated in the Central Region of Ghana. Its a farming community with about a thousand (1000) inhabitant. They are located on the great RIVER AYENSU, one of Ghana's famous rivers. Their main farm productions are, sugar cane, tomatoes, pepper and potatoes.

The need to institutionalize equity and justice has again been stressed as a condition for peaceful co-existence, harmony and sustainable development.

This was the consensus of participants at a one-day Symposium organized by a non-governmental organization, ASETO (African Agency for an enhanced Socio-Ethics and Traditional Order).

The symposium was held at the organization’s office, Sanngo Ibadan as parts of the activities marking this year’s World Peace Day and Nigeria’s 49th Independence Anniversary.

Report on 1st Kabissa Meetup in Kumasi (Ghana) and Zack's Site Filming Project - September 22nd to 24th, 2009

Zack was picked up at exactly 11:45am on Tuesday September 22 from the MV Explorer which docked at the Tema Harbour in the early hours of the 22nd by officials of Elizka Relief Foundation which was led by Kofi Kankam.

MIKIKI AFRICA is an organization working with informal traders and Small and Medium Enterprises in Nairobi, Kenya. We took it upon ourselves to understand the impact of the post election violence in Nairobi which happened at the end of year 2007 and beginning of 2008 after the just concluded general elections. Informal traders and Small and Medium Enterprises insisted on the need to establish what they suffered or went through during the violence.
